A spectacular presentation from Glengoyne. When this was released it was the first time that the Highland distillery had bottled its oldest and most valuable warehoused stock.
The whisky was distilled way back in 1968, matured in a sherry butt and finally bottled as this limited edition 40 year old in 2009.
The decanter is produced using Glencairn crystal, and this is number 54 of just 250. Every bottles comes with a hand-numbered an authenticated leather-bound book from Distillery Manager, Robbie Hughes.
